JOB PURPOSE:
The Global CM Operations Manager leads CM Strategy and Framework and drives the agenda together with BU CM Operations managers across the markets to support business growth with cost and cash competitive solutions. The role manages relationships with strategic contract manufacturers, implements quality control protocols, and drives continuous cost improvement initiatives.
This role is critical in maintaining the efficiency and quality of global manufacturing operations, supporting the company’s business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement strategies for co-manufacturing that align with overall business goals and market demands.
Oversee contract manufacturing operations globally.
Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic co-manufacturers, negotiating contracts together with CM Procurement and ensuring alignment on production schedules and quality expectations.
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., R&D, supply chain, quality assurance) to ensure seamless integration of co-manufactured products into the overall supply chain.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions within co-manufacturing operations, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
Assess and mitigate risks associated with co-manufacturing, ensuring contingency plans are in place for potential disruptions.
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, contract manufacturing management or procurement
Knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Proven track record of successful process optimization and cost management.
SKILLS :
Contract manufacturing management.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
