About the Team TikTok Cross Platform team is dedicated to providing infrastructure to support developers to write code once and run it on multiple platforms(Android, iOS, TV, Desktop). We provide front-end framework, development platforms, devtools and mobile sdk to hundreds of TikTok developers to improve developer experience and development efficiency. We're looking for Android engineers to build mobile sdk and frameworks for cross-platform developers in TikTok, as a front-end runtime running on Android devices: - Design and implement cross-platform frameworks/containers, middlewares and other components - Build infrastructure and tools for developers and deliver best practices - Improve the performance, stability and efficiency of technical solutions - Collaborate with product engineering teams and infrastructure teams to achieve common goals
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's or above degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience - 5+ years of industry experience in Android development - Proficient in Java or Kotlin on Android - Strong ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases - Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: - Understand the front-end development technology stack and common front-end development frameworks - Experience in using some cross-platform solutions such as WebView or Flutter - Experience with kernel development such as layout, rendering, virtual machine - Experience in sub-engineering areas such as framework, tools, performance optimization and development efficiency TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $355000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
