The Electrified Powertrain Warranty Engineer is responsible for leading the resolution of warranty issues associated with the High Voltage Battery Packs, Battery pack control modules, Electric Drive Motors, power inverter modules, charging modules and more! This includes addressing concerns due to hardware, Software / Calibration, and system interactions with strong focus on problem-solving, root cause analysis, and validation. This role involves a proactive approach to addressing quality concerns, driving improvements, and ensuring that warranty-related issues are resolved efficiently. The Electrified Powertrain Warranty Engineer works closely with dealers, suppliers, and internal teams to confirm issues, propose solutions, and track progress in delivering resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform deep dive analysis of product failures to determine root causes, collaborating with cross-functional teams (product development, supplier quality, and manufacturing) to implement corrective actions

· Accountable for proposing solutions, validating their effectiveness, and tracking progress to ensure timely resolution

· Manage escalation of issues as needed

· Perform vehicle reviews as needed at dealers, QEC (Quality Engineering Center), and assembly plants to identify and confirm the root cause

· Collaborate with Stellantis and Supplier Plants to establish and validate containment actions

· Ensure that appropriate service actions are defined and implemented to address warranty issues (including Parts Purge, Service Bulletins, Tech Tips, Rapid Service Updates, etc)

· Ensure that lessons learned from current warranty claims are fed forward to prevent similar issues on future vehicle models

· Regularly report on warranty-related quality issues, progress on GIMs, and the status of resolutions at required quality and leadership meetings
