What You'll Do

• Contribute to a cross-functional team within Ad Formats throughout the development stack, solving problems at scale for our users.
• Collaborate with engineering squads across Spotify, to support their knowledge and educate them on our portfolio of ad formats.

• Promote sound engineering practices, drive work on technical strategy and roadmaps.

Who You Are

• You’re an experienced Javascript developer with 5+ years of working experience.
• You are experienced with React.js, Node.js & GraphQL. Additional tools and technologies such as Next JS, Java, Spring, GCP are a plus.
• You have led the decomposition and upgrading of large frontend codebases to micro frontends.
• You are autonomous, taking full ownership of your work and driving your personal development. You value team success over personal success and have the ability to both uplift and up-level other engineers.
• You hold yourself and others accountable, responsible for every last detail, every step of the way. You are a good communicator and an empathetic, attentive listener with the capability to anticipate the needs of partners.
• You have a deep understanding of JS design patterns, data structures, and web architecture and understand how to apply them to design pragmatic solutions.
• You love working in an environment where you constantly deliver and iterate quickly. You have led large complex multi-team refactors working across domains frontend, backend, infrastructure.
• You have experience working directly with partners to understand, document, and develop APIs and systems to meet their requirements, driving increased adoption and reducing reliance on custom one-off implementations.
