You will be joining the SoFi Borrow Group’s Lifecycle Marketing Team. We're a high-impact, high-visibility, values-driven group, and we sit at the heart of it all. This is a 6-month temporary contract to provide coverage during parental leave.

- The Home Loans business is comprised of several verticals: purchase mortgages, refinance mortgages and home equity loans (emerging business)
- You will lead a team of 3 mid-level lifecycle marketing strategists
- You and your team are responsible for delivering ~50% of the Home Loans business revenue
- As a strategist, your job is to identify opportunities to drive incremental business growth.
- Functionally, we want you to do this by knowing--intimately--your customer and personas associated with each vertical and to curate interactions with the customer at every stage of the user lifecycle: awareness, acquisition, activation, onboarding, engagement, retention, churn prevention, winback and loyalty.
- The channels you own to curate those experiences are: outbound channels: email, push notifications, SMS ad spaces behind the login wall: in-app messages, content cards, inline product ads
- The existing omni-channel Home Loans Lifecycle Marketing Program you will manage consists of both campaign-driven work and evergreen nurture program development and iteration
- Partner with finance and product marketing to deliver a channel-level quarterly forecast
- Establish quarterly objectives and key result targets that align with marketing and business priorities
- Lead and coach your team to establish priority initiatives that will accomplish quarterly OKRs
- Be accountable for and report on performance with marketing and business leadership
- Ideate on ways to pivot if/when program performance isn't hitting target
- Collaborate with:

- Lifecycle Marketing leadership team
- Product Managers and Engineering
- Lifecycle Marketing Tech & Ops
- Paid channel owners
- Creative Studio
- Sales/MLO partners
- Sector: Experience in fintech, finserv and/or tech sectors (preference for fintech)
- Domain: Deep expertise and proven success in driving business growth at scale through lifecycle marketing (ideal: also product marketing)
- Scale: Experience owning 50% of the business' revenue
- Superpower: Expert in building strong working relationships and establishing domain credibility within a matrixed organization
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
- YOE: 7+ years of direct-to-consumer lifecycle marketing strategy experience, leveraging channels such as: email, in-app, push, and SMS
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in marketing in the mortgage industry
- Role: Experience leading a team and providing real-time mentoring and coaching
- Skills:
- Strong analytical chops with experience using various testing methodologies
- Presenting to executive leadership
- Comfortable and confident navigating ambiguity
- Expert level communication (in EQ, style and brevity)
