The Plant Manager provides leadership in developing and maintaining a safe, efficient, accountable, and engaged site providing best in class products and services to the building and construction industry. Motivating a matrix organized leadership team responsible for all aspects of operations, this position is accountable to implementing a strategic road map driving excellence in safety, quality, delivery, sustainability and cost that exceeds industry standards and secures a market leading position.
Essential Duties Include:
- Implement and maintain programs to ensure that the plant meets/exceeds Company requirements for Health, Safety and Environment.
- Provide Leadership over all aspects of plant operations. Fully leverage site leadership team to ensure on-time delivery of quality products while minimizing cost, inventory and waste. Implement programs for continuous improvement of customer service, product quality, process yield, reduction of variable and fixed costs, and reduction of inventory. Pursue synergies with other SPG (Vinyl Siding) sites to collaborate, identify and implement best practices.
- Manage plant financials such as budgets, purchasing, capital, etc. to meet/exceed business expectations. Prepare appropriate plant information needed to complete Company financial requirements such as strategic plans and budgets. Implement key financial indicators to proactively monitor the plant’s progress.
- Develop an operating culture that promotes involvement, communication, accountability and a drive for excellence.
- Build a high performing team with robust development plans to secure business continuity through succession planning.

Is this job for you ?
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or similar technical discipline required
- 10+ years of experience demonstrating progressive leadership experience in 24/7 production required
- Demonstrated success of setting standards, communicating those expectations, and achieving clear and measurable results required
- Must excel in planning and establishing priorities while demonstrating flexibility and the ability to multitask

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $165,500 to $264,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 24% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $205,220 to $327,980.
