You’ll be working for British Gypsum in East Leake. British Gypsum is part of Saint Gobain Interior Solutions, and one of over 30 brands within Saint Gobain.

There are some specific requirements we are looking for from suitable candidates;

• FLT Licence or recent experience is important for this role
• Experience working in a fast paced production / manufacturing environment
• Great Communication Skills
• Computer Skills, including experience with MS Packages
• Ambitious and willing to learn
• Demonstrate a strong awareness and respect for health, safety and environment

What will I be doing in the role?

Our Operators are very important to the smooth running of the business, you will be responsible to ensure the safe, continuous, effective and efficient production of our products. Your role is important to help ensure products are where they need to be on time and you will be responsible for meeting required plant outputs to ensure that the product moves to the next process step in a condition that is ready for delivery to the customer. To support our customers effectively you will;

• Maintain and promote safe working standards with a commitment to your own and others safety
• Ensure all required data and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Embrace, plan and organise a diverse range of operational activities to support business needs
• Maintain and drive World Class Manufacturing (WCM) performance standards as part of a high performing team
• Operate vehicles

Hours of Work

This is a weekly rotating shift pattern, working Tuesday to Friday from 6am to 6pm on week one, then Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am on week two, followed by Monday 6am to 6pm on week three.
