WHY WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU:
Retool is rapidly growing and with it, the hardware, software, events, and vendors that we use to do our jobs and serve our customers. We’re looking for the first member to build out the IT function in our New York office. You would ensure our teams are set up to have fast and responsive internet, a great conference room experience, in addition to streamlined access to the best software and hardware available. You would be responsible for answering and updating support tickets, providing onsite A/V support, integrating and maintaining apps in Okta, onboarding and maintaining new cloud-hosted and local software, as well as administering Meraki, Jamf, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH:
You’ll be working cross-functionally with our SF-based IT team, the EMEA office team, the Infrastructure, People, Workplace teams, and remote Retools worldwide to help them be successful.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL:
- Answer support tickets in our ticketing system
- Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software to all Retools
- Build up the Helpdesk function for Retool by improving metrics, ticket readability, and generating reports for management and leadership
- Integrate new software and security features and roll them out to Retools
- Administrate Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Meraki, Zoom, and help onboard many more IT-oriented tools as we grow
- Update and maintain detailed IT software and hardware documentation
- Troubleshoot A/V issues and develop solutions
- Update and maintain detailed external and internal A/V documentation
- Onboard and support employees, third-party vendors, and/or contractors
- Run onsite events for Retools, including occasional evening and morning events
THE SKILLSET YOU'LL BRING:
- 3+ years of IT experience in an enterprise environment
- Experience working at a fast-growing tech company
- Strong working knowledge of Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Zoom, and deploying software to endpoints on a large scale
- Hands-on experience with computer networking and connecting A/V hardware
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for working with internal customers
- Bonus points for strong working knowledge of Bash, Python, and Javascript
For candidates based in New York, the pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings (OTE) for commissionable roles. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Retool and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors such as (but not limited to), scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience and qualifications, and location.
Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity, and/or commission/bonuses are dependent on the position offered. Retool provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
