As a Client Account Manager focused on upper and mid-funnel marketing tactics, your primary goals are nurturing relationships with clients and agencies to help drive business results on Pinterest through consultative selling, education, and support. You’ll plan and implement advertising of specific major accounts to retain clients' business and grow those opportunities through understanding your clients' objectives and helping them achieve their goals. You’ll cultivate relationships and identify opportunities. Your strategic direction will drive value for millions of Pinners who come to Pinterest daily, seeking inspiration to actualization, needing our partners’ products to take action. Build relationships with key stakeholders across complex organizations, and drive value by using data insights within the business and across the marketing funnel. This involves building brand recognition, generating interest, and educating potential clients about the brand's products and services.
What you'll do:
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships: Independently engage with partners on campaign performance, optimizations, and new opportunities, ensuring their objectives are met through collaboration with internal teams.
- Drive business growth through data-driven insights: Deeply understand partner goals, translate data into actionable insights, and deliver compelling narratives to guide successful media strategies.
- Effectively Presents Solutions: Autonomously develop and present clear solutions that directly address customer objectives and challenges. In ad products and best practices, advise partners on targeting, bidding, creative, and measurement strategies to optimize campaign performance and exceed targets.
- Ensure campaign success: Proactively monitor and optimize campaigns, interpret results, troubleshoot issues, and deliver performance updates to partners, ensuring alignment with agreed-upon metrics.
- Lead client engagements: Actively participate in client meetings, understand their objectives and challenges, and present tailored solutions to drive success. Address partner questions or concerns professionally and patiently, identifying opportunities to promote multiple Pinterest solutions.
- Simplify the complex: Distill complex processes and products into clear, digestible formats for partners, providing expert guidance on Pinterest's ad features and capabilities. Stay current on product roadmaps and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address partner needs.
- Pitch new solutions: Confidently pitch new products and campaign best practices at scale, showcasing the maximum market impact and of Pinterest's evolving offerings.
- Planning and Organizing: Independently plans, organizes, prioritizes, and executes to efficiently meet business objectives.
What we're looking for:
- Client Account Management: Experienced in independently managing client accounts for mutual benefit.
- Digital Advertising Expertise: Deep understanding of digital advertising and media sales, with technical knowledge in Search, Shopping, Display, and Social advertising technologies.
- Reaching a wide audience: Experience utilizing strategies and forecasts to expose the brand to as many potential customers as possible.
- Enhance Brand Visibility: Ability to drive strategies to increase the visibility and recognition of clients' brands on Pinterest. Focus on creating a strong market presence and capturing the attention of potential customers.
- Establish Positive Brand Image: Expertise in developing and implementing campaigns that establish a positive image of clients' brands, fostering familiarity and trust among consumers.
- Build Long-Term Relationships: Experience nurturing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, focusing on building loyalty and repeat engagement through effective brand awareness strategies.
- Data-Driven Decision Maker: Proven ability to analyze media data, extract actionable insights, develop forecasts, and leverage measurement tools to drive successful campaigns.
- Subject Matter Expert: Develops and presents clear solutions addressing customer objectives, offering mentorship and guidance to peers.
- Manage Resistance: Experienced in overcoming obstacles and client resistance by seeking diverse perspectives.
- Be Autonomous: Capable of independently managing priorities to achieve goals.
- Cross Promotion: Experience strategically leveraging client budgets and identifying areas where clients can increase ad spend across Pinterest.
- Collaborative Partner: Excels in team environments, supporting colleagues proactively and adapting to dynamic workplaces.
- Strong Communicator: Skilled in developing and maintaining relationships through written and verbal communication.
- Technical Expertise: Skilled in providing technical guidance to peers as needed.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
