Job Description

The mission of the Community Programs Office is to leverage strategic programming and communications to cultivate an environment where the people who build Oracle Applications believe in a common mission, understand their personal impact, and endeavor for excellence together. This team partners closely with Human Resources and leaders across the business to build solutions for our employees, develop inspiring communications content, and experiment with new ways of facilitating connection across a global organization in a hybrid work environment.

We are seeking a candidate who is excited to join our small team at the Redwood Shores offices and is willing to come into offices 4x per week.
The candidate for this position would need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and relational.

Skills / Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program management or operations experience needed
  • BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
  • Experience using Slack, Microsoft Suite, Zoom, and Sharepoint. APEX a plus.
  • Ability to work with large remote/matrix/cross-functional environment
  • Clear and crisp communication; good written and verbal grasp of English; team player and team builder
  • Professional maturity, judgement, negotiation/influence skills, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Operations

  • Managing program logistics such as scheduling, venue booking, and participant recruitment for programs from start to finish
  • Developing and implementing detailed program playbooks and work processes pinpointing areas of improvement to build a foundation for scaling
  • Plan and direct program calendars and monitor budget/spending
  • Lead discovery and implementation of internal tools and pitch solutions of implementation in team briefings
  • Be the point of contact as administrative leader for internal tools

Program Management

  • Closely monitor program progress, manage issues and risks within scope of project
  • Proactively manage changes in scope, identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Work with Senior Manager to monitor the project initiation through delivery
  • Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Escalate as appropriate

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $78,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
