Oracle Primavera PIF (Project Integrated Framework) Consultant

Job Description

Oracle’s Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit (CEGBU) focuses on project-intensive industries such as engineering and construction, aerospace and defense, utilities, oil and gas, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, automotive, financial services, communications, travel and transportation, healthcare; state, local and federal government.

The CEGBU has numerous products that support Enterprise Project Portfolio Management software such as Unifier, P6, Aconex, OPPM and Oracle Primavera Cloud (formerly Prime) that encompasses resource allocation, cost reduction, supply-chain efficiency, and decision-making―using real-time data, for the enterprise market.

The Technical Consultant will be involved in design, implementation, deployment, maintenance and documentation of Project Integrated Framework (PIF) interfaces. PIF is an integration framework used to integrate CEGBU products with external applications like SAP, EBS etc. PIF interfaces can also be used for P6/Unifier data consolidation and data migrations.

This responsibility includes interacting with clients/internal stake holders at all levels to understand the business requirements to conclude the blueprint, configuration, testing, migration, support and continuous enhancements of the integration framework.

The position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.
Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience:

  • 3+ years of customer facing or consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of overall experience in relevant technical skills mentioned in the Job Skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
  • Enterprise Software implementation experience working for a software company.
  • Thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Previous systems (integration) experience with Oracle Products and other systems.
  • Excellent communication & coaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with all customers, Oracle internal teams and Partners for delivery of bug free software.
  2. Interact with customers/internal stake holders at all levels to understand the business requirements to conclude the blueprint, configuration, testing, migration, support and continuous enhancements of the integration framework
  3. Design, Develop and test the assigned integration interfaces using the Oracle Primavera project integration framework.
  4. Contribute to software code reusability and knowledge management
  5. Effective communication and excellent demonstrable knowledge of Oracle Primavera products.
  6. Take ownership of assigned projects and pre-sales opportunities and drive them to closure.
  7. Refine and improve the blended delivery processes
  8. Participate in Organizational initiatives related improvement of services from Oracle Construction and Engineering Global business unit.
  9. Report and collaborate with all related stakeholders
  10. Ability to work independently and with the team to ensure quality deliverables on the project

Job Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Primavera product (P6, Unifier, Primavera Cloud, Aconex)
  • Working with APIs/Integrations
  • Hands on experience in integration development and data migrations
  • Strong Oracle PL SQL, Web/REST Services
  • Any programming background,
  • Expertise with Web services; POSTMAN, SOAP and REST API
  • Working experience with Project Integrated Framework (PIF) will be added advantage.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from $25.48 to $60.63 per hour; from: $53,000 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
