Job Description
The Oracle Solution Center is a revenue-focused, presales support organization where you will be responsible for understanding the breadth of Oracle's technology platforms including databases, middleware, on-premises Engineered Systems, Cloud@Customer, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. In this role you will design, implement, and maintain Hybrid Cloud, Multicloud, and Cross-cloud solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver technical guidance to Oracle customers and the sales field. This also includes substantial hands-on work with systems and networks in our Reston data center and the cloud.
As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing presales technical/functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision.
- Act as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants.
- Develop and deliver high-quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations.
- Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction, and overall Oracle solutions.
- Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.
- Develop and manage reference sites through high-quality technical, professional client relationships.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Cloud@Customer solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and support for Oracle Cloud and Engineered Systems services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high availability of cloud services.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Oracle Cloud technologies.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant computer applications or database/tools
- BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system.
- Through knowledge of system and application design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments.
- Ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from $31.20 to $76.44 per hour; from: $64,900 to $159,000 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
