The Role
Solera is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Payables, Treasury Account Analyst, responsible for supporting the LATAM region. This role will require a hybrid working arrangement, combining remote work with occasional in-office presence. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical abilities, be driven and focused, exhibit a positive attitude, demonstrate efficiency in their work, have a customer-centric mindset, and be adaptable to thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Payables : Manage the end-to-end payables process for the LATAM region, ensuring accurate and timely recording, reconciliation, and payment of invoices.
- Treasury Operations: including cash management, bank reconciliations, and maintaining relationships with financial institutions.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to payables and treasury activities, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements related to payables and treasury functions. Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks.
- Vendor : Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues, negotiate terms, and optimize vendor relationships.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance payables and treasury processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Recommend and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports, metrics, and analysis related to payables and treasury activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain proper documentation of processes and procedures.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various teams, including Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Operations, to support business objectives and foster effective communication and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CTP, CPA) preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in payables management, treasury operations, or financial analysis, preferably within a multinational organization or supporting the LATAM region.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify insights.
- Proficiency in using financial systems, ERP software, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
- Ability to adapt to and thrive in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
