What you’ll do:

We are looking for someone with a sense of ownership who takes pride in a company’s success. Jolt is growing, and your work will have a significant impact! You will be in a highly visible role working with Jolt's VP of Marketing and Sales, completing tasks supporting Jolt’s event strategy and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities will include managing Jolt’s event schedule, event budgeting, producing marketing content, analyzing marketing ROI, and working with the digital marketing team for demand gen. Ideally, you have prior experience with managing all aspects of an event (in-person or virtual) and know how to ensure event success. The Marketing and Events Coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many projects simultaneously while being an autonomous individual willing to wear multiple hats. Most responsibilities include the following:

  • Perform research to gain a deep understanding of each event's different requirements and details.
  • Liaise with vendors, external event organizers, and internal stakeholders to ensure everything is in order during the event planning process.
  • Manage event contracting, booking of services, reserving staff hotels, registering conference staff, shipping equipment, and vendor payments.
  • Occasionally manage onsite event set-up and tear-down.
  • Maintain Jolt’s event budget and spending.
  • Maintain promotional material inventory and ship materials where needed
  • Assess each event’s success and create a post-event report including overall ROI.
  • Assist with developing and managing content, including blogs, case studies, and press releases.
  • Will create digital Ads/videos/creatives for social media posts.
  • Accomplish organizational goals by accepting new and different requests outside of the primary job scope.
  • Develop email drip campaigns by crafting messages and identifying target audiences.
  • Offer solutions to resolve event-related problems promptly.

Qualifications

  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Experience with creative spaces for marketing initiatives - including Canva, iMovie, and PhotoShop.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and creative
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in event planning and management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Exhibit Day event management software is a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
