Primary Responsibilities:

  • Help process provider applications and re-applications including initial mailing, review and loading into the database tracking system
  • Conduct audits and provide feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance
  • Work independently to resolve standard and non-standard requests
  • Consult with your supervisor on complex issues and problems
  • Collaborate with others on your team

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of managed care or medical insurance experience
  • 1+ years of experience in credentialing providers, working in provider relations, medical billing or quality management
  • Basic level of proficiency with MS Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CAQH
  • Experience managing a group mailbox
  • Payer enrollment experience
  • Knowledge of NCQA guidelines

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
