The Security Response Operator will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the safety of home healthcare professionals. In emergency situations, the candidate will manage the triage of emergency notifications, coordinate with emergency services, and report on the situation.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure the safety of home healthcare professionals
- Triage emergency notifications and determine appropriate actions
- Contact and coordinate with emergency services as needed
- Report and document emergency situations accurately
- Assist Senior Management with the daily operations of Call Center services, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining high-quality work standards
- Handle critical information in urgent situations
- Maintain excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task under fluid and sometimes stressful situations
- Ensure measured response times
- Plot dangerous areas to warn users of potential risks

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working in a dispatch, security, or response center environment
- Experience in applying critical thinking skills to assess emergencies and make sound judgment calls
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work weekdays, 6 AM to 3 PM Central Time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous working history as a 911 operator or similar field
- Previous military and/or law enforcement experience

Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $23.22 to $45.43 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
