In this position, you will use your operational analytical skills to design/develop, program, maintain and publish reports. Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers. You must be self-directed and creative as you will analyze with very interesting and complex issues. As a key resource to others, you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, solid interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining automated reports showing value-based incentive performance for contracted IPA network
- Supporting ad-hoc executive requests to inform business solutions for strategy initiatives across the East region; including but not limited to membership growth, market expansion, product development, and payer contracting
- Supporting the adjudication of value-based payments for IPA and tracking financial incentives
- Partnering with Market Operations to communicate key insights regarding value-based care performance to the East region’s contracted IPA providers
- Create pathways for automation of various operational analytics functions
- Documenting and measuring business and clinical operating processes and driving regional standardization, integration, and performance management

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. BA/BS in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or a related field
- 3+ years of experience performing significant data analysis and report development
- 2 + years of experience working with any type of healthcare data and automating processes
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in SQL, SAS, or other programming languages

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
