General Role Description:
As a dual role of Site Leader/Licensed Clinical Therapist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population along with fulfilling the administrative role of Site Leader.
Primary Responsibilities: |
- Form excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providers
- Screen and assess patients for common mental health disorders
- Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
- Interviewing and hiring of new clinical staff as well as onboarding of new clinicians
- Participate in local marketing efforts and development of new referral sources
- Manage day to day clinical processes and running weekly meetings
- See a minimum of 20 client hours per week
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
Competency Requirements: |
· Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field
· Must have a clear, active and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC) in the state of North Carolina
Preferred Qualifications: |
· 2.0+ years professional social work / clinical experience post Master’s degree
· Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals, couples and families
· Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation – Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness
