The Creative Project Manager improves the efficiency of Creative Partners by ensuring consistency amongst projects and carefully monitoring workflows. This role plays a key role in keeping creative production projects on track from intake to completion. Creative Project Managers collaborate and communicate with business stakeholders, creative and operations team members.

This role requires an individual that is detail oriented and can anticipate roadblocks. The ability to be flexible and work within gray areas is key to succeed in this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution

  • Manage creative projects of varying complexity and visibility
  • Define/manage project scope in consultation with applicable stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines while driving clarity in roles and responsibilities
  • Ensure that project deliverables are on track throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assess project deliverables against client briefs
  • Ensure quality for all material before finalizing
  • Manage project budgets as necessary
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Facilitate regular status updates and risk assessments

Problem Solving

  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues
  • Ensure that any project changes are documented and addressed effectively and efficiently

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience on a creative, marketing or project management team or similar role
  • Experience organizing project meetings, tracking, planning and scheduling
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools and software
  • Experience operating in a collaborative environment that encourages engagement, participation, and open dialogue
  • Experience with client service / account management orientation
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with Workfront
  • Demonstrated solid understanding of the creative process from concept to execution
  • Knowledge of process improvement techniques
  • Marketing, agency or creative background
  • Experience presenting to management on project updates and results
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
