As a Sr Actuarial Analyst ALDP, you will be empowered, supported and encouraged to use your actuarial expertise as you perform financial analyses and build models that improve health plan competitiveness.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support pricing, rate filings, regulatory reports, surveys, and audit
  • Utilize pricing tools and interpret/communicate results to leadership
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as Product, Sales, Regulatory, and Underwriting

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Actuarial experience, preferably within Healthcare
  • Actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more Actuarial exams
  • Experience using analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Health rate filing and/or pricing expertise
  • Experience and proficiency with Access and/or VBA
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including written and verbal forms of communication

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
