Project Manager - Contract

We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to work as part of the Product Management team to support the development of DreamBox Math’s student experience. The individual is responsible for planning and managing grant funding designed to design, test and launch new features to improve students’ motivation and engagement in their mathematical journey. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of the project while maintaining transparency and accountability.
In This Role You Will:
- Complete, track and submit all required grant paperwork and reports to ensure compliance with grant terms and deadlines
- Monitor and maintain the grant budget, ensuring all expenditures align with the approved funding guidelines
- Plan and schedule project activities, ensuring timely progress toward grant objectives
- Facilitate scrum team meetings with developers, UX/UI designers and other stakeholders
- Facilitate change requests to ensure all stakeholders are aware of impacts to budget and schedule
- Manage contracts with vendors and ensure synergies between vendor timelines and overall project timelines
- Identify and mitigate risk to project schedules which would impact outcomes or deliverables
- Communicate project status (risks, adjustments, and progress) on a consistent basis to various stakeholders

- Proven track record for successfully managing complex projects; experience with grant funding is a plus

- Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong interpersonal skills
Credentials and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in project management
- Budget management experience
- Experience in EdTech is a plus
- Strong proficiency in use of multiple types of software applications (MS Office and Outlook systems, JIRA, Confluence)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Legal right to work in the United States.
This role is designed to be remote. The contract will be for 18 months (1.5 years) and 20 hours/week.
