The Crown Is Yours

As an Onboarding Program Manager, you will design and lead an onboarding program that fosters connection, boosts effectiveness and efficiency, and immerses new hires into DraftKings culture from their first interaction. In this role, you will be responsible for building, refining, and maintaining an onboarding experience that aligns with our company values and the People Team’s strategic goals in welcoming new employees. Your impact will be felt through increased new hire engagement, streamlined onboarding processes, and the creation of a cohesive environment that empowers employees to thrive right from the start.

What you’ll do as an Onboarding Program Manager

  • Lead the creation and execution of project plans to revamp the onboarding process, ensuring alignment with the program's overall objectives.

  • Design, organize, and facilitate monthly onboarding sessions, ensuring they reflect company values and objectives.

  • Ensure timely and effective communication for new hires and managers, incorporating updates as needed.

  • Work with leadership and key stakeholders to design interactive, engaging content for new hires, including presentations, panels, and training modules.

  • Collaborate with People Analytics to design feedback mechanisms and success metrics, developing action plans based on the results to continually improve the program.

  • Maintain active engagement with new hires through cohort Slack groups, communication plans, and continuous feedback loops.

  • Design, implement, and facilitate the DraftKings New Hire Buddy program to support new employees during their transition.

  • Present monthly or quarterly updates to leadership on the onboarding program's performance and future roadmap.

  • Continuously update and improve onboarding documentation and materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 7 years of experience in a People Program Manager, Onboarding Manager, or similar role.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

  • Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to distill complex or ambiguous information into actionable insights.

  • Experience managing competing priorities and projects simultaneously.

  • A collaborative approach with experience working across teams and with various stakeholders at all levels.

We’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 115,200.00 USD - 144,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
