The Role:

DailyPay seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager of Incident Management to join our Operations team. DailyPay is committed to delivering high resiliency of our technical and operational functions in support of our clients and end-user needs. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional incident response to minimize and mitigate major disruptions. The ideal candidate will lead our end-to-end Incident Management program throughout the incident lifecycle, including detection, rapid response, communication, remediation, post-mortem, and problem management activities. This includes leading a team of Incident Response Managers and/or Analysts to lead real-time incident response activities, while also working with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Support, and Client Success to optimize our Incident Response program.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Continuously deliver a best-in-class incident response program and policy for DailyPay
  • Develop a strategic roadmap to ensure the right tools, processes, and people are in place to support our scaling business and product lines
  • Support Business Continuity efforts to optimize plans, playbooks, and communications
  • Maximize the number of incidents proactively detected through monitoring and controls
  • Partner with teams across the organization to identify and gaps in detection mechanisms
  • Execute exceptional incident response through robust playbooks and standards
  • Ensure all major incidents have completed post-mortems, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions identified

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in incident management, IT, engineering, operations, security or similar
  • Data driven decision making
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced tech company environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong and cross-functional communication skills; must be able to deliver accurate and concise executive-level communications under at time constraint
  • Subject Matter Expertise related to ITIL, ITSM, and incident management practices
  • Solid technical background and an ability to learn new technical concepts quickly

United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
