About the Role:
Confluent is looking for a Director, Global Benefits and Mobility to support its global population. Reporting to the Head of Compensation and Total Rewards, you will partner with regional HR and business leaders to manage the strategic design and execution of global benefits and mobility programs across 27 countries.
What You Will Do:
- Drive strategic planning and design for benefits programs supporting 27 countries across the AMER, EMEA and APAC regions.
- Lead the management and execution of Confluent’s global immigration, mobility, and relocation programs.
- Coach and inspire a high-performing team of specialists in the three regions.
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and time away benefits.
- Manage global benefits budgets, partnering with Finance and broker partners to optimize benefits spend.
- Engage effectively with Leadership, People Support, Recruiting, Legal, Finance, and Compensation colleagues to support benefits and mobility program effectiveness and execution.
- Actively manage global benefits and mobility broker and vendor relationships so that contractual engagements are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with local, State/Provincial, and national time off, leave, pension, and insured benefit mandates.
- Keep current on market trends, business challenges, and priorities by gathering competitive market data and networking with industry peers.
- Lead benefits communication efforts to ensure employees, candidates, and their families understand and appreciate the benefits available to them.
What You Will Bring:
- 10+ years total relevant benefits experience, with a track record of implementing and managing benefits in multiple countries evidencing mastery of core benefits concepts.
- 3+ years experience managing immigration and mobility programs.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to influence senior management and work across all levels of the organization.
- Passion for optimizing the employee experience and promoting a culture of well-being.
- Strategic focus, with solid project management, organizational, and analytical skills.

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $197,280 - $236,700, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
