Application Services

  • Provide technical support for business-critical software applications, diagnosing and resolving user issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor application performance, resolve technical issues, and perform root cause analysis for recurring problems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for application-related inquiries, working with users to address their needs.

Release & Deployment

  • Participate in the testing of new or updated applications, ensuring they meet functional requirements and quality standards.
  • Assist with the release & deployment and rollout of new software versions or updates to users.
  • Ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption during application changes, including user training and documentation.
  • Perform enhancements as per requirements and ability to deploy.

Reporting & Management

  • Collect and analyze data from the applications to generate reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Monitor application usage and performance metrics to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Provide recommendations for improving workflows or streamlining processes through better application use.
  • Work with project managers and customers to ensure the applications meet evolving business requirements.
  • Update design documents as needed.

Experience Required

  • UI/UX design principles (design thinking, human centered design, accessibility standards)
  • React JS
  • Prototyping, wireframing, user research, usability testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Info Tech, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Previous experience in a managed services role or IT support (typically 5+ years).
  • Demonstrable examples of compelling UX designs for applications with high transaction volumes.
  • Demonstrable understanding of information architecture.
  • Demonstrable experience of collaboration and communication skills on complex assignments.
  • Experience overseeing UX developers implementing UX designs in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Customer-oriented; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks preferred (i.e. ITIL)
  • Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc) and querying for data analysis.

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $65,200-$138,944. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
