We are looking for an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Consultant to join our growing digital transformation team. This is a dynamic and highly technical role where you will work with cutting-edge SAP cloud technologies, integrate on-premise systems with cloud-based solutions, and deliver intelligent enterprise-ready services. You will be a key player in designing, developing, and delivering next-generation cloud-native applications on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry runtime) while leveraging your strong foundation in SAP and non-SAP technologies.

Your role

• Design and develop cloud services and applications using SAP BTP, focusing on the Cloud Foundry runtime and related service offerings.
• Utilize a broad technical skill set across ABAP OO, SAPUI5, Java (Spring), and modern JavaScript frameworks for both front-end (UI5) and back-end (Node.js) development.
• Work extensively with SAP API Management, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP API Business Hub to architect and implement seamless integrations.
• Lead or contribute to the solution architecture for customer projects, especially those involving integration between on-premise S/4HANA and cloud services via SAP Cloud Connector.
• Develop and maintain applications using SAP Cloud SDK (Java and Node.js).
• Design and implement solutions using HTTP-based APIs (REST, SOAP, OData).
• Use tools such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and adhere to best practices in continuous integration and DevOps.
• Apply knowledge of SAP HANA, both on-premise and cloud (SAP HANA Cloud, SAP HANA as a Service), to design performant, scalable data solutions.
• Innovate rapidly with prototyping and support product roadmaps aligned with SAP’s emerging technologies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating both technical expertise and business understanding.

Your skills and experience

• Strong expertise in SAP BTP with focus on Cloud Foundry runtimes and SAP core cloud services.
• Proficiency in ABAP OO, SAPUI5, Java (Spring Framework).
• Hands-on development experience in JavaScript-based front-end and back-end frameworks, including Node.js.
• Solid understanding and implementation experience in: SAP API Management, SAP Integration Suite, SAP API Buisness Hub
• Expertise in SAP BTP components and services integration.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud SDK, development using REST, SOAP, and OData APIs.
• Experience with tools and technologies like Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Spring, Node.js.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Strong skills in SAP HANA technologies—on-premise and cloud-based.
• Experience working with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP HANA as a Service, and RDBMS concepts.
