We’re looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our high-performing finance transformation team. This role is ideal for someone with deep knowledge of SAP Finance modules and a strong foundation in accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP). You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP financial solutions—especially in SAP S/4HANA environments for multinational organizations.

This position requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex business needs into system solutions, lead cross-functional project teams, and drive successful delivery in both onshore and offshore models.

Your role

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Tax, and baseline CO) with a strong emphasis on SAP New GL and S/4HANA Finance.
• Translate business requirements into system configurations—designing organizational structures and charts of accounts that align with business and regulatory needs.
• Manage end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, having served as a module lead in 2–3 full lifecycle implementations and a sub-module lead in 5–8+ projects.
• Handle intercompany transactions, eliminations, and financial consolidations in multi-entity, multinational environments.
• Collaborate with C-level executives, finance leaders, and IT teams to align SAP solutions with strategic business goals.
• Mentor junior team members and guide offshore/nearshore teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Provide thought leadership, encourage knowledge sharing, and contribute to internal capability growth initiatives.
• Travel to client sites (weekly) as needed to support project execution and relationship management.

Your skills and experience

• 9–13 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a relevant SAP FICO consulting role.
• Deep understanding of SAP General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax, and Controlling (CO).
• Proven experience working with SAP New GL and preference for hands-on knowledge in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Expertise in designing organizational and financial structures within SAP to align with IFRS/GAAP compliance.
• Demonstrated success managing multi-national finance processes, including intercompany eliminations and consolidations.
• Strong leadership in onshore and offshore delivery models.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Exposure to advanced financial planning and analysis tools and reporting solutions within SAP.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a strategic and detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence and engage C-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated team leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of creativity and flexibility.
• Passion for continuous learning and keeping up with SAP innovations and trends.
