BILL is seeking a Director, Supplier Growth to build and lead a high performing sales team focused on streamlining enterprise supplier payment processes with a comprehensive automated solution. The Director, Supplier Growth is a highly strategic role that is responsible for managing a team that will engage and sell our AR solutions into Enterprise/ Corporate suppliers while acting as a trusted advisor focused on activation, growth and retention. This position will also serve as an outbound sales expert, achieving assigned quotas, gathering / entering and analyzing data, and exceeding customer and stakeholder expectations.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing cross-functional sales team focused on sales and revenue growth within our enterprise supplier network.
  • Promote operational excellence through strong pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and data analysis to recognize trends and improve business across all functional areas.
  • Create repeatable go-to-market strategies and tactics that will be utilized by you and your team throughout the entire sales cycle
  • Develop, enhance, and drive execution of the supplier growth sales strategy to increase pipeline opportunities, achieve individual and team quotas and maximize customer activation, growth and retention.
  • Provide regular, data-based updates to the leadership team regarding progress against quota attainment, team performance, and any challenges faced.
  • Develop strong relationships and foster an environment of constant collaboration with key cross functional teams, including: marketing, revenue operations, business development, product, finance, data analytics, etc.
  • Be the voice of the customer: gather and socialize customer and market insights with key stakeholders to influence product and marketing roadmaps
  • Develop, socialize and maintain an understanding of key industry insights, critical customer pain points and value props, competitive offerings and other business needs relevant to the position
  • Help build a culture of achievement and success

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • 7+ years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Sales manager with 5+ years of previous success leading teams. SaaS and B2B payments experience is a plus.
  • Must have a proven sales management track record of hiring, training, coaching, and motivating high performing sales teams
  • Track record of exceeding team sales quotas
  • Proven ability to create scalable processes for a newly established and growing sales team
  • Strategic thinker with advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Comfortable navigating complex organizations to establish meaningful relationships with C-Suite executives, prospects, and customers
  • Experienced negotiator with success negotiating complex customer contracts and renewals that drive results to the business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present sales strategies and data driven results to all levels of the organization
  • Superior leadership and management skills that include communication, transparency, collaboration and mentoring.
  • High performing, motivated sales-leader focused on driving meaningful results towards company-wide sales initiatives
