Role Responsibilities
The position will report to the Senior Director, Corporate Strategy with significant exposure to the Executive Leadership Team. This position will design and lead a range of high-profile, cross-organizational efforts that support the development and implementation of Suntory Global Spirits long and mid-term growth strategies. The ideal candidate will be able to act as a lead member of a small, internal consulting group that brings strategic thinking, analytic rigor, and overall excellence to Suntory Global Spirits high priority initiatives and drive to outcomes.
- Manage and lead strategic agenda through closely working with senior stakeholders by defining team priorities, shaping the agenda, and ensuring that project delivery is robust, accurate, and actionable.
- Support the Senior Director through engaging other team members to develop mid- long-term strategies with the design and implementation of a range of high-profile, cross-organizational strategies that support the growth of the business (e.g. portfolio initiatives, market development strategies etc.).
- Navigate the team to build and deliver the annual Strategic Planning Cycle (e.g., Strategic Plan, Strategic Priorities etc.) as well as work on the development of executive materials (e.g., Board Decks, ELT rev, Chairman of the Board etc.).
- Assist Chief Global Strategy Officer in proactively supporting requests from senior shareholder such as ELT, especially in strategic areas and accommodating them in a way to have positive impacts within the organization and drive shareholder value.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors; MBA strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-6 years of graduating experience in a top tier management consulting or corporate strategy role, experience in spirits, beverages and consumer products business would be preferred but not mandatory.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and valuation basics.
- Project / Process Management: Proven ability to manage cross functional projects sponsored by senior leadership, from start to finish.
- Presentation Effectiveness: Ability to translate insights into structured presentations that highlight key implications; ability to present effectively to senior.
- Advanced Business Analytics: Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets to inform decision making; advanced Microsoft excel, powerpoint skills.

Salary Range - The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $160,000 to $180,000, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
