The Pricing Manager role provides a great opportunity to join the North America Finance team and make an impact on the business. The role interacts across several different functional groups including Sales, Finance, and Revenue Growth Management, enabling a solid understanding of the commercial business. The Pricing Manager will have visibility to Sales and Finance leaders as they support strategic and tactical pricing initiatives. This individual will also develop a strong skillset as a business partner to the sales team helping to influence and make key business decisions.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding business partnering to the Region Finance, Region Commercial, and US RGM teams to drive sustainable, profitable growth
- Lead the pre & post evaluations of pricing, profitability, elasticity, and breakeven points of pricing actions
- Oversee ad-hoc work to drive incremental revenue and profit via RGM levers
- Facilitate the connectivity and sharing of knowledge among the RGM, Region Finance, and Region Commercial teams
- Drive the commercialization process from strategy to consultation with the markets through to execution
- Provide training and education on the Vistaar system as well as pricing best practices to members of the sales teams
- Responsible for pricing variance analysis to strategy, budget, and Vistaar price structures, as well as recommending plans for resolution
Qualifications
- Education: undergraduate degree, preferably with focus in finance, accounting, business, or economics. MBA/CPA also a plus
- Years of experience: 5+ years of experience in Revenue Management, Sales Finance, Marketing Finance, Strategy
- Experience in beverage alcohol industry preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including articulating complex financial analyses and relationships to non-financial stakeholders
- Inquisitiveness & initiative to understand financial, commercial, strategic, and pricing concepts to solve issues autonomously
- Strong analytical ability with a demonstrated attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of the Vistaar pricing system
- Travel requirements: minimal
Salary Range - The salary range for this role, based in Chicago with a salary range of $110,000 - $115,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
