The Lead Content Strategy & Partnerships Manager - Rentals is a highly skilled business strategist who is also adept at sourcing and negotiating new data / content partnerships - finding true “win-wins” for Realtor.com and our ecosystem partners. You will help define the content partner portfolio strategy for Realtor.com Rental category (e.g. Content, Property Management Companies, CRM partnerships, etc.), maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and drive business requirements across multiple teams in pursuit of our partners’ success and our consumers’ needs.

As the Lead Partnerships Manager - Rentals, you will report to the Director of Content Strategy & Partnerships. You will work cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, Legal, Analytics, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams, as well as external partners and customers to drive partnerships that will enhance and improve Realtor.com's Rentals experience.

You will be frequently presenting new ideas to stakeholders across the business and working cross-functionally to validate opportunities and execute content & partnership agreements. You will understand how to navigate tradeoffs without compromising quality. You will stand up for change when needed, but know how to work within a business/product and technical organization to drive consensus and lead initiatives to fruition.

What you’ll do:

  • Have a deep understanding of the Rental and Property Management industry, technology landscape, and consumer/customer pain points
  • Be the primary commercial point of contact for all active Rentals partners (40+ partner portfolio) and all discovery efforts for new partners, including leading all negotiations of agreements with partners while also coordinating across product, engineering, sales, marketing, and analytics to execute on product experiences
  • Responsible to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful implementation of partnerships
  • Lead efforts across the company with SMEs on behalf of Rentals to identify and create net new revenue opportunities for Rentals
  • Work closely with Product Management to understand how integrated content partnerships can help to accelerate/enhance the product roadmap
  • Identifying, negotiating, and securing strategic content partnerships that align with Realtor.com’s consumer and customer positioning
  • Working alongside Product, Analytics and Finance to evaluate the business impact of strategic content initiatives
  • Working with Data Science to identify opportunities for proprietary data to differentiate the Rentals experience
  • Attend industry events and develop strong relationships with other technology providers in the rentals/residential real estate space
  • Work with strategic content partners to develop impactful co-marketing initiatives that deliver clear value for consumers and industry professionals
  • Identify and monitor key market, consumer and competitive trends

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in B2C or B2B tech, including at least 5 years in corporate / business development, strategy, partnerships, or product management
  • Rental and/or Property Management industry experience
  • Ability to thrive in the fast-paced and ever-changing start-up like environment is a must
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to get things done; working autonomously and with an owner's mentality
  • Exceptional project management, presentation and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organization is paramount with a continuous desire to learn and improve
  • You are a strategic thinker and creative problem solver with the ability to transform business goals into actionable product plans
  • Exceptional judgment with the ability to determine solutions, and influence key stakeholders, based on limited data
  • You comfortably maintain the balance between attention to detail and swift execution
  • Proven track record of delivering to schedule and to results
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
