About the Role

As the Growth Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing paid media channels to drive customer acquisition and scale the Act+Acre brand. You will oversee media buying on Meta and Google platforms, and add value through an additional skill such as influencer whitelisting, landing page development, or email/SMS acquisition campaigns. This role will focus on performance marketing and creative collaboration to ensure our campaigns are both impactful and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

Active Meta & Google Media Buying:

  • Manage and optimize paid media campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads. This includes campaign structure, bidding, and creative asset briefing. Use data-driven strategies to improve conversion-related performance goals (ROAS, CPA, CVR, etc.).

Budget Optimization:

  • Continuously track campaign performance, identifying opportunities to scale, reduce, or reallocate budget across paid channels to maximize conversions. This includes daily, weekly, and monthly recommendations.

Ad Creative Strategy and Insights:

  • Own our ad creative development process, including briefing, testing, and deriving insights about our top performing USPs and audiences from our ad performance. Communicate this learning to our creative team for ongoing ad optimization, and to our broader company for omnichannel marketing optimization.

Attribution, UTM, and Pixel Tracking:

  • Create a hyper-organized system for tracking the effectiveness of your creative and performance strategies. This includes naming conventions, conversion lift tests and hold outs, and 1st party data tools (e.g. Elevar, Amplitude).

Additional Value-Add:

Influencer Whitelisting:

  • Partner with influencers to amplify brand awareness and leverage whitelisting for targeted media buying that expands reach and drives conversions.

Landing Page Development:

  • Collaborate with the design and web development teams to create and optimize landing pages, ensuring they are conversion-focused and aligned with campaign goals.

Email/SMS Acquisition Campaigns:

  • Design and execute email and SMS acquisition campaigns, focusing on growing our customer database and driving direct-to-consumer sales.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to align paid media campaigns with broader brand initiatives and product launches.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Generate regular performance reports, summarizing key insights, campaign outcomes, and optimization recommendations. Present actionable insights to stakeholders to inform future strategies.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in growth or performance marketing, preferably within a direct-to-consumer (DTC) consumer goods brand.
  • Proven expertise in Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Google Ads media buying at $200k+ per month budgets.
  • Experience with one or more value-adds such as influencer whitelisting, landing page development, or email/SMS acquisition campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, provide insights, and optimize performance based on metrics.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
